Buttermilk Biscuits
- 450 g Flour
- 5 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 150 g Cold Butter
- 375 g Buttermilk
In a large bowl, whisk together first five ingredients. Grate butter with large grater holes. Mix into flour. Stir in buttermilk with a fork just until dough is moistened.
Turn onto floured surface. Do two letter folds. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place touching on a pan.
Bake at 425.
Yield: 10-12 biscuits
